We support communities
Esri South Africa supports organisations focused on environmental conservation by providing business advice, technical support, skills development, finances, software and training. We participate in programmes, activities and partnerships that protect and enhance our environment.
As part of our ongoing initiative to encourage skills development and capacity building, Esri South Africa offers free geographic information system (GIS) training to unemployed youths. Through our partnership with eDeaf, we provide opportunities for training which contribute to the economic empowerment of the South African deaf community.
We support entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs create socio-economic value for their communities. Esri South Africa supports emerging entrepreneurs by assisting with the development of their business skills and expertise.
Our capacity-building programme guides small businesses on how to incorporate strategic value in their service offerings to potential clients.
We support education
Esri South Africa is passionate about encouraging spatial awareness and critical thinking in learners, starting from primary school right through to tertiary level. We regularly donate and invest our resources to assist teachers in enhancing their geospatial knowledge.
We donate software to schools that are unable to afford the technology enabling them to expose their learners to the power of GIS. Through our partnerships with secondary and tertiary institutions, Esri South Africa has assisted numerous students by providing support in the form of sponsorships and bursaries for further education.
